Terms and conditions for all traders, contracted organisations and volunteers working at, or for Friends of Tividale Park at the Black Country Festival 2018

  • All stallholders are to provide their own gazebos, tables and chairs to ensure safe set up. There are no power sources available. Friends of tividale Park advises stallholders to have public liability insurance that provides no less than £5 million of cover.
  • Stallholder parking permits – maximum of 3 small vehicles. Only ONE vehicle will be allowed to remain at your stall. Other vehicles will need to be moved to a designated parking area. All vehicles to display event entry pass on their screen or dashboard.
  • Traders access to the event ground. Gates will be opened at 8.30am (earlier on arrangement for large stalls, marquees inflatables or stage equipment) and closed at 10.00am to allow completion of set up for event start at 11.00am.
Security will direct traffic and advise of your pitch location. Please note the once way system. After unloading, please park any vehicles not staying on your pitch in P1 Shown.
  • Please note there will be no exiting of the event ground until the event closes at 5pm. Once the event commences NO vehicle will be allowed to move unless specifically permitted by the Event Organiser.
  • Note if any trader has very large vehicles please seek advice from the booking team regarding access to the field. There is an almost U turn access onto the field. Stewards will be on hand at the entrance. We are happy to meet to do a reconnaissance or provide additional photographs of the field entrance. There is You Tube video of the entire park available.
  • Please note that the park will be open to the public, we ask that you keep your speed to an absolute minimum whilst driving through the park noting the 5MPH signs, be cautious for pedestrians and loose dogs.
  • Entrance is via Dudley Road West at the yellow gate near the Wonder Pub. The gate and road way will be marshalled – traffic to keep to the speed limit and use indicators.  The gates are only used under normal circumstance for access by residents living in the flats at the entrance, council workers and users of Tividale allotments.
  • At the close of the event, you will be allowed to move your vehicles onto the event site to pack away. Once you are finished, please make your way to the exit. Again be cautious for pedestrians and loose dogs.

  • Stall bookings are via this website. Public liability Insurances must be provided along with appropriate Health and Safety risk assessments and hygiene certificates as appropriate by email as part of booking acceptance. Note; documents will be reviewed by Sandwell Council and the Event Manager prior to event start, so ensure current documents are available on the day. Payment is with 7 days of acceptance of booking. Unless otherwise advised, pitch prices are £30 for regular pitches and £50 for catering vans.

  • The sale of food or drinks is NOT permitted unless approved by event organisers.
  • Face-painting and Glitter Tattoos NOT permitted unless approved by event organisers.
  • No selling of alcohol on site – we do not hold a license.
  • Rubbish removal. Please ensure that all rubbish is bagged and removed from site, any stallholder leaving rubbish behind will not be allowed to partake in any future events. no rubbish to be left behind.
  • Emergency evacuation instructions will be provided with the welcome pack. Pack to be issued approximately 3 weeks prior to the event)
  • Volunteer Health and Safety Induction. No Volunteers to start work at the event until they have understood and signed onto the risk assessment and method statement. This includes dealing with traffic management, incidents and emergencies.

  • Members are identifiable via their hi-viz and will operate a information and first aid tent.
