Following the success of our spring Bat Walk (April 2019), we are excited to once again be working with the Birmingham and Black Country Wild Life Trust to conduct a night-time walk of the park with bat detectors.
The event meeting point is the Tividale Community Hub at 7pm. There will be a small talk on bats and their ecology and tea and coffees will be available.

We will then set off at around 7:30 around the park. This event may go on till between 9.30pm and 10pm. But you are welcome to stay as long as you are able. Hi Viz is available from the Community Hub.

We know from our last event that there are two species of bat in the park, including the Common Pipistrelles which appear around twenty minutes after dusk Around twenty minutes later, more-light sensitive bats should emerge.
